80 children in independent living houses (36 Boys & 44 Girls)
Our children are given experience in independent living skills e.g. cooking, budgeting, washing dishes and laundry, ironing, personal hygiene, sweeping, cleaning, making beds etc.
Our aim is to help each child to become as self-sufficient as his or her disability will allow. Being Independent not only gives a child confidence but also helps them to become more accepted within the family. The children live in family groups under the watchful eye of a houseparent.
